Puly Cleaner®

Descaling powder for home and office espresso machines and electric kettles

Puly Cleaner® is a powdered descaler for cleaning boilers, heat exchangers, heating elements, kettles, filter coffee machines, and all coffee extraction equipment. Even a very thin layer of limescale (approx. 0.3 mm) acts as insulation and lowers the temperature by about 5 °C. The machine has to work harder to reach the desired heat, often resulting in under-extracted coffee.

Puly Cleaner® complies with HACCP standards. It is easy to use, fast-acting, safe for food-contact equipment, odorless, tasteless, and environmentally friendly.
Not suitable for aluminum parts.

Why descaling is important

Limescale builds up as hard deposits on the walls and heating elements of kettles and coffee machines. The consequences are higher energy consumption and longer boiling times, resulting in under-extracted beverages. On the walls of electric kettles and espresso tanks, limescale promotes bacterial growth. In espresso machines, limescale accumulates in valves, filters, and water passages, reducing efficiency until complete blockage occurs.

Usage frequency

Perform periodic cleaning depending on water hardness, at least once every 30 days.

Step by step

Espresso machines
Descaling

1. Dissolve 1 sachet of Puly Cleaner® in 1 liter of water.

2. Pour into the water tank, switch the machine ON/OFF every 30 seconds until empty.

Rinsing

1. Rinse the tank and refill with clean water.

2. Switch ON/OFF every 30 seconds until empty.

Electric kettles
Descaling

1. Dissolve 1 sachet of Puly Cleaner® in 1 liter of water.

2. Pour into the kettle and heat.

Rinsing

1. Switch off and empty the kettle.

2. Rinse thoroughly with potable water.
