Finding a suitable space for a restaurant is not so easy, as they have different requirements, norms and restrictions. When choosing a room, you should first consider two parameters: the condition of the room and its location. The place for the restaurant is chosen taking into account the concept of the future restaurant. For example, it is better for a youth cafe to be near educational institutions or learning centers, but for a family cafe, it is better to be in an area with a lot of pedestrian traffic. Assess the space itself, whether it meets all regulatory requirements. Another important question is whether it is possible to re-plan the premises to make repairs according to your design. Are there all the necessary communications. It is necessary to know how much electrical power is required, because food equipment consumes a lot of electricity.

The most important question - what is the rent. A restaurant requires a large area and not everyone has the opportunity to own it. The rent depends on various factors – how big the area of the room will be, in which city and district the rooms are located, how much pedestrian traffic there is and how favorable the neighborhood is with other important public places. On average, the rent in Latvia will be from 200.00 to 1000.00 EUR in districts and from 400.00 to 6000.00 EUR and more in Riga cent or micro-districts.
